Peabody Company announced that Scott Findlen has accepted the position of property casualty sales agent.  Scott will be working from the FAPCO Caribou office with senior agent and branch manager, Troy Heald.  Under Mr. Heald’s direction, Scott will learn all aspects of the property casualty industry including underwriting, claims, policy design and pricing for business and personal lines of insurance.  Scott will be primarily responsible for new business development in personal insurance throughout central and northern Aroostook County.

Scott is a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Southern Maine Community College.  He has also earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine in criminology.  Scott spent the next fifteen years as a human services employment agent for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.   In 2017, Scott obtained his Maine multi-line property casualty license as well as the Maine life, health and accident licenses at which time he joined the State Farm Insurance Company in Presque Isle.  Chris Anderson, President of F. Scott resides in New Sweden with his wife, Joyce, and their two sons, Caleb and Austin.
