Jean Morrison Original 06-22-2010Houlton, Maine – Chris Anderson, President of the F. A. Peabody Company (FAPCO) announces that Jean Morrison has been promoted to manager of the Calais office.

Jean is a licensed State of Maine Property and Casualty agent with 41 years of property and casualty insurance experience. She has been a licensed agent since 1986.

Jean is a Washington county native having graduated from Shead Memorial High School.  She served for several years as manager of the Fenderson Agency Eastport office and was named Commercial Lines Producer of the Year for that agency in 1998 and 2002.  Most recently, Jean has served as Commercial Lines and Personal Lines supervisor in the FAPCO Calais office.  Anderson stated “Jean continues to amaze me with her grasp on agency operations and a continued excitement and love of the insurance business.  She is very well respected by her staff and peers and I look forward to her leading our second largest office.”

Jean is excited about this new opportunity that allows her to serve the insurance needs of the Washington County area in her new capacity. She resides in Calais with her husband, Sandy and they love spending time with son, Sandy Jr., daughter Heather and their families, camping, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.

 

Darlene Gillespie 08-2010Houlton, Maine – Chris Anderson, President of the F. A. Peabody Company (FAPCO) announces that Darlene Gillespie has been promoted to Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in the Calais office.  In this capacity, Darlene will be working directly with commercial clients in reviewing and servicing their accounts on a continuing basis.

Darlene has served as personal lines assistant/front desk receptionist for fourteen years, including the most recent five years with FAPCO.  She is looking forward to the challenges presented in her new position.  Anderson stated “Darlene is one of the hardest working and versatile members of the team in Calais.  Her years of experience receiving and handling customers is an invaluable skill to managing a business assignment.  I am very happy she is willing to take on this important responsibility’

Darlene is a Washington county native and a Calais High School graduate.  She resides in Charlotte with her husband, Gary, and enjoys family time, exercise and shopping trips. They have one daughter, Paige and a son, Joshua.

Lisa is a licensed State of Maine Property and Casualty agent and will be focusing on the personal insurance needs of customers in the greater Washington County area.

Lisa is a Washington County native and graduate of Calais High School.  She earned her Associates Degree in Business Management from Washington County Community College.  She is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals and is currently working towards her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.   Anderson stated “Lisa’s energy, commitment and dedication to the industry will serve her customers well and confirmed our decision to move her into sales.”

Lisa is looking forward to her new sales position and serving the insurance needs in the Washington County area.  She resides in Calais with her family.
