Houlton, Maine – Christopher Anderson, president of the F. A. Peabody Company (FAPCO) announces that Lisa Hutchinson has been promoted to Vice President of Insurance Services.

Mrs. Hutchinson began working with F. A. Peabody Company in 1989 as a personal insurance service representative and attained her state of Maine property and casualty license in 1990. Lisa held a variety of positions as a service agent until 2005 when she moved to the commercial insurance division. She handled a large direct commercial service book in the Hampden and Sherman, Maine branch offices. Returning to Houlton in 2010, Lisa was assigned many of FAPCO’s largest and complex accounts as well as conducting service training and audits for new staff.

Lisa has served as both President and Vice President of the Insurance Association of Greater Houlton and was named Insurance Woman of the Year in 1996. Lisa’s professional achievements include earning the coveted Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designation given by the National Association of Insurance Women in 1996 and earning the Workers Compensation Professional (WCP) designation by the American Society of Workers Comp Professionals in 2015. Both designations require rigorous study and experience in the field of insurance.

Lisa graduated from SACHS in 1980. In 1982, Lisa earned her Associates Degree from Thomas College. Since that time she has continued her formal education, having earned an Associate’s Degree in business administration from Northern Maine Technical College in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Lisa resides in Hodgdon with her husband, Alex, and together they have 3 children, Alex, Lindy and Morgan and one granddaughter, Jordin.
