This Saturday, come out and enjoy some fun winter activities and celebrate life. Many people in our area are affected by cancer, and the Celebration of Life Fund was started to help these people and their families cope. The event’s flyer says, “The Celebration of Life will inspire you to to touch the hearts of people in our community that have fought this battle and are winning!”
The event takes place at Katahdin High School, Saturday February 16th at 9:00, and includes a 3 mile cross-country ski and snowshoe trail and a 2 mile walk. You may collect pledges for your walk to help the cause, and there is a $15.00 minimum donation to participate. The first 100 will receive a free long-sleeved t-shirt.
