A.  They would cost the exact same amount to insure.

 

“Red cars draw the attention of cops and cause more accidents, so they cost more to insure.”  That was what I had heard all of my life, and it wasn’t until I became an insurance agent at age 26 and started selling auto policies that I found out it is not true.  Not once did I ever have to ask a customer the color of their car, and despite the rumors, the color is not indicated in any vehicle’s identification number.  So, go ahead and buy that red car!  But, still obey the speed limits.
