On Saturday, July 13, 2013, the Patten Lumbermen’s Museum celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary and Founders Day with Timber Tina’s Great Maine Lumberjack Show!

The museum was founded in 1963 to record Maine’s rich logging history and preserve its heritage.  Logging in Maine started back in the 1600s, and at one time, Bangor was the largest shipping port in the world for the logging industry.  Logging continues to be an important part of Maine’s economy and way of life.

Entertaining at the anniversary event is Timber Tina’s Great Maine Lumberjack Show, which is a very popular daily show in the Bar Harbor area every summer.
